Shawn McMorran, Chief Executive Officer
Since joining the company in November 2006, Solarsoft's CEO,
Shawn McMorran, has led Solarsoft to international prominence as a
strategic ERP leader within the mid-market arena. Shawn's
experience in the software industry spans over 20 years within the
UK and continental Europe where his career developed through sales,
executive management and business development roles. Prior to
Solarsoft, Shawn spent 12 years at SunGard Data Systems. In 2002,
Shawn left SunGard as Group President to set up a strategic
advisory practice for portfolio investors in information technology
and, from 2004, served as CEO of Almonde, a Benchmark Capital
portfolio company.
Andy Hovancik, Chief Operating Officer
Andy Hovancik has more than 20 years
experience leading companies in strategic marketing,
sales and general management roles in the software, services and
manufacturing industries. Before joining Solarsoft,
Mr. Hovancik was President & General Manager of a
global manufacturing division of Illinois Tool Works. He
began his career in educational software and
held executive leadership roles in leading suppliers to the US
market before moving into manufacturing. He holds a
degree in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University
and an MBA from Tulane University.
Steven Hargreaves, Group Product Director
Steven Hargreaves manages Solarsoft's product strategy,
marketing and communications. He began his career as a consultant
at Accenture developing applications for customers across finance
and industry. He subsequently joined Thomson Financial as a
Development Manager and later, as Director of E-commerce Services
at Bankers Trust in New York (now Deutsche Bank), he led the
adoption of online customer services across the bank's global
operations.
Peter Cauley, VP Finance
Peter Cauley brings 25 years of management experience in
innovative software companies to Solarsoft's finance and control
operations. He joined Solarsoft from BorderWare Technologies where,
as COO and CFO, he took the business through a successful exit
for investors in July 2009. Peter was previously CFO for 12 years
at DataMirror Corporation, a business acquired by IBM in 2007.
Peter articled with Deloitte Haskins & Sells, obtaining his
Chartered Accountant designation in 1985.
