Solarsoft's real-time manufacturing execution and production monitoring software, Mattec MES, helps improve uptime by 12% and overall equipment effectiveness by 10% at The Vollrath Company, a manufacturer of injection molded warewashing rack systems and plastic kitchen products for the foodservice industry.

The Mattec MES system has helped Vollrath, a manufacturer of injection molded warewashing rack systems and plastic kitchen products for the foodservice industry, steadily improve uptime by 12% and overall equipment effectiveness by 10% since its implementation in 2009.

The Dane, Wisconsin-based Vollrath selected Mattec MES to deliver real-time production and process monitoring capabilities, comprehensive real-time data reporting, integrated quality assurance, and a method to minimize response time to down machines.

By minimizing response times to down machines through the real-time voice paging and alerting functionality of Mattec MES, Vollrath has steadily improved OEE to 87%, and uptime to 91%. Real-time reporting has improved accessibility to key information to the people who need it.
