Manufacturer of high-pressure aluminum die castings selects Solarsoft's ERP system for discrete manufacturing operations.
Ryobi Die Casting, a manufacturer of high-pressure aluminum die castings and tier-one supplier to the automotive industry, will implement Solarsoft's iVP ERP system across its three plants in Shelbyville, Indiana, and their plant in Irapuato, Mexico.
Toronto, ON - September 29, 2011 - Solarsoft Business Systems, a
leading provider of enterprise software and IT services to
manufacturers worldwide, announced today that Solarsoft's
enterprise resource planning software for discrete manufacturing
operations, iVP, will replace an existing system at Ryobi Die
Casting, a manufacturer of high-pressure aluminum die castings and
tier-one supplier to the automotive industry. Solarsoft will be
implemented across Ryobi's three plants in Shelbyville, Indiana,
and their plant in Irapuato, Mexico.
"I had used Solarsoft at a previous job and was familiar with
the system, the company, and its people," says Randy Burket, IT
Manager at Ryobi. "So when we were looking for packages at Ryobi we
targeted Solarsoft as an option. We chose Solarsoft's iVP system
because of its state-of-the-art functionality. It has everything we
need so we don't have to build our own features. Having previously
dealt with other ERP packages and larger, more expensive pieces
from SAP and JD Edwards, Solarsoft's cost and value was the right
fit for us."
"With Solarsoft, we can move away from time-consuming manual
data entry and reporting," says Burket. "We look forward to
Solarsoft's EDI and Shop Floor Reporting capabilities. The ability
to see what our machines are doing in real-time is another huge
benefit."
"We're happy to be on board," says Burket. "Solarsoft will play
a big part in our future. The Solarsoft system is one that we can
grow with."
