manufacturer and service provider of industry-leading SmartSource®
check and document scanners, SmartCash™ cash automation solutions,
and a wide range of printer products, has selected Solarsoft as its
primary manufacturing software provider to optimize operations and
reduce costs. The Solarsoft implementation went live in
November.
Burroughs' growth and expansion had led to the use of more than
100 application systems to manage operations. This was an
expensive, complicated and difficult to maintain environment. The
implementation of Solarsoft helped Burroughs streamline these
management systems, including Oracle, into just four systems.
Burroughs chose Solarsoft's managed solution, which is hosted and
maintained by Solarsoft, to further reduce the overhead required
for Burroughs to manage its environment.
