Distiller G&J Greenall achieved a 40% reduction in finished goods inventory

Distiller G&J Greenall were able to reduce their finished goods inventory by 40% in the first six months after Tropos go live – paying for the system three times over.

Automatic matching of invoices has cut the time taken to process purchase orders, and the availability of improved costing information is allowing G&J Greenall to identify areas where further savings can be made. "We've been able to reduce dramatically the time taken to produce end-of-period results, with consequent improvements in management effectiveness," says Pete Revill the Information Systems Manager. "Now, if a period ends on a Friday, the reports are available that evening. Management decisions are only as good as the data used to produce them, so more timely information means better decision making."
