Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of the software solution based sales
- Selling complex, powerful, tailored Enterprise and Manufacturing solutions
- Exploring and evaluating new business opportunities and achieving ambitious business goals
- Primary responsibility for direct sales to large potential manufacturing clients
- Work closely with potential customers in a highly consultative manner in order to enable them to exceed their business expectations
- Effectively build and accurately forecast sales pipeline
- Produce winning presentations and proposals including working with the business to deliver outstanding ITTs and RFPs
- Engage prospects throughout the sales cycle and assist with closing opportunities
- Close exceptional business and exceed Quota
Required Skills and Qualifications
- University Degree
- Proven track record in delivery of new business within a technology solutions environment
- 3-4 years ERP sales experience or within a related software product sold to manufacturers and distributors
- Ability to independently understand and establish Manufacturing or Distribution client's requirement and sell the solution into the client's organization including Senior Management.
- Experience translating functionality into benefits, benefits into solutions, solutions into buying vision and buying visions into won business.
- Energetic, results oriented and self motivated with excellent communication skills

Job Description
Solarsoft Business Systems, a leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems provider, has an opening for an experienced Database Engineer at its development centre in Toronto. The company is looking for a talented developer to join the design and engineering team building a new generation of software using Microsoft .Net technology. This role offers significant opportunity for an accomplished programmer to take the lead in technical analysis and design of a strategic part of our product range. Candidates will need to show a track record delivering sophisticated, high quality software in a dynamic environment.
Principal responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Team Leads, Project Managers and Application developers
- Enforce SQL programming standards and best practices through instruction and example
- Develop complex queries, stored procedures, triggers and indexes
- Troubleshoot and optimize production systems
- Learn the various applications/associated databases in relation to the business
- Maintain an understanding of the application and databases in relation to the business
- Keep abreast of current database development and administration practices, as well as general advances in computing technology
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server; other RDBMS experience will be considered
- Understanding of normalization and data model creation/implementation/maintenance
- Experience with TSQL, stored procedure, trigger, and UDF development
- Demonstrated proficiency with schema design, modification and normalization
- Proven track record with query optimization
- Ability to review, analyze, and reconcile data
- Understanding of object–relational mapping (ORM) issues
- Excellent database troubleshooting skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to clearly articulate solution recommendations
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, in a fast paced environment
Recommended Skills
- Familiarity with.NET, XML and web services highly valued
- Knowledge of ERP / Manufacturing / Financial systems a definite asset
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
- SQL Server clustering experience and/or SQL master/slave replication experience

JOB TITLE: IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT
Reporting To: Business Unit Manager
Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario
Position Summary
Working closely with clients, the implementation consultant will guide the implementation process and instruct the customer on the functionality and use of the Solarsoft software. As a primary interface between the customer and Solarsoft, the implementation consultant will ensure satisfaction with all Solarsoft products and services.
Principal Duties
- Manage the implementation of the Solarsoft software application at the customer site.
- Provide expertise and assistance during the implementation process.
- Instruct and train clients in the functionality and use of Solarsoft software.
- Develop customer rapport.
- Ensure satisfaction with Solarsoft products and services.
Knowledge Requirements
- A Bachelors degree and 2+ years of business experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- A solid understanding of manufacturing and accounting principals.
Soft Skills
